Jade had learned about members of her family and friends needing care at Sault Area Hospital. She saw them recovering from procedures and surgeries and wanted to help. This 8-year-old started a fundraiser during the Easter weekend for our local hospital.
She asked herself, "how can I raise money?"
Jade decided to bake cupcakes and muffins to sell and co-teach a yoga class; both of which she had experience with. She was blown away by the generosity of neighbours, families and friends as she raised $87 dollars.
Jade learned a lot from this fundraiser, but one thing really stands out; that Sault Ste. Marie has very generous people!
