A Hopeful Holiday

Sault Area Hospital Foundation's Tree of Hope was decorated this holiday season with inspiring messages from our community. These beautiful contributions were handwritten onto ornaments by members of the Foundation team, and hung on the Tree of Hope, located in the main lobby of SAH for all to enjoy. Many of our community members expressed their gratitude to the Algoma District Cancer Program, and sent messages of support for cancer patients.

From the Foundation Team: thank you to all who contributed. Reading and writing these messages was an honour, and truly reflected the compassion and love that surrounds Sault Area Hospital and those accessing its services. We know so many of these messages helped inspire or comfort those reading them. Memorial messages were also touching tributes to loved ones lost at a time of year when we may miss them most.

Though many photos of ornaments were posted to our social media channels, they show only a small fraction of the contributions made from our community. Thank you to everyone who shared a kind message this holiday season. It's heartwarming to see the support that so many give to our local hospital.

Donating to Sault Area Hospital Foundation helps purchase vital medical equipment for Sault Area Hospital. This can help maintain and develop specialized services, like our Catherization Lab and Cancer Program. Community gifts help keep these services local - so people can rely on our hospital for care close to home. By supporting SAHF, you support your community members in ensuring they can receive outstanding care locally, with the support of their loved ones surrounding them. Thank you to all who gave this holiday season!
