Scott Seabrook win $66,770 in the April SAHF 50/50 Draw

On May 1, 2025, Scott Seabrook of Sault Ste. Marie, ON won a $66,770 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) April 50/50 draw. His lucky number (A-11665825) was drawn electronically, and he was called immediately.
Scott couldn’t get to the phone but he had an idea of what the voicemail might say. Just a few moments later, he received an email announcing the April 50/50 winner. He checked his tickets – and realized he’d hit the jackpot! When asked about his plans, Scott said his first thought was how he could give back to the community. “I would like to keep the funds local and supporting our community is important to me,” he shared. Scott and his wife, Kyleigh, generously donated $3,000 of their winnings back to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation – proving that giving back can be just as rewarding as winning big!
Scott wasn’t the only winner this month – April’s Early Bird, Teresa Little of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, was the lucky winner of $10,000 on April 17, 2025 with ticket A-17354446.
“Our 50/50 is built on community support– from those who buy tickets, to winners like Scott who want to pay it forward,” said Teresa Martone, Executive Director for Sault Area Hospital Foundation. “Each ticket purchased from our lottery programs continues to make a difference for healthcare in our community – thank you to all who support.”
Tickets for SAHF’s May 50/50 draw are on sale now! Get your tickets before 11:59pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2025 for a chance to win the $10,000 early bird prize – plus every ticket has a chance at the growing jackpot.
Don’t forget – you can also purchase SAHF 50/50 and Split the Pot tickets at select convenience stores including Our Place Confectionary, Krazy Ernies, Paquette’s Confectionary, Millies Mini-Mart, New York News in Station Mall, The Airways General Store LTD, and Metallo’s Mini Mart. Providing your contact information at the checkout is optional – so remember to keep your ticket in case it’s a lucky winner.
Tickets are 10 for $10; 60 for $20; 200 for $40; or 750 for $75. In addition to online sales at www.soolottery.ca, tickets can be purchased in person at select convenience stores and Sault Area Hospital Foundation Office (750 Great Northern Road) from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.
