On Wednesday, January 31st, Arlene Martin, of Elliot Lake, ON, won a $100,138 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) January 50/50 draw. Arlene’s lucky number (J-6603378) was drawn electronically, and she was called immediately.
“One second – I need to sit down!” was Arlene’s response when she got the news! She shared that her family has had recent experiences with care at Sault Area Hospital, and she’s been supporting SAHF’s 50/50 draws for a long time. “We’re very grateful to the Sault Area Hospital, for everything they do.”
Arlene wasn’t the only winner this month – January’s Early Bird, Tammy Parr of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, was the lucky winner of $10,000 on January 17th with ticket J-4355813.
“It was wonderful to start the year on a high note – giving away a big cash prize. Tickets for SAHF’s February’s 50/50 draw are on sale now! Get your tickets before February 14th for a chance to win the $10,000 early bird prize – plus every ticket has a chance at the growing jackpot. Final draw for the jackpot is February 29th.
Tickets are 10 for $10; 60 for $20; 200 for $40; or 750 for $75. In addition to online sales at www.soolottery.ca, tickets can be purchased in person at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Office (750 Great Northern Road) from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.
