On April 29th, Donna Bos of Echo Bay, ON won a $140,510 jackpot with ticket #CFF-4581480 in the April 2022 SAHF 50/50 Draw!
Donna was one of the first purchasers in the month of April, buying her lucky ticket the morning of April 1st –and it paid off! “I get that first email each month, and I just make sure I act on it or else I’ll forget,” laughed Donna. She mentioned that she’s been purchasing her tickets and making sure she supports Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) ever since she learned that the hospital depends on community support. “Knowing that we, as a community, purchase the medical equipment at Sault Area Hospital – we just had to support and ensure we’re helping give our doctors, nurses and technicians the tools they need to care for us. It started with donations for us, and now we also enjoy these draws.”
Donna had tears of joy in her eyes when SAHF staff got ahold of her. She indicated she will be sharing some of the money with her family. “I have children and grandchildren that I really look forward to spending some of this money on,” Donna said with a smile. This month’s winner also had their choice of bonus prize – a $30,000 gift certificate to Mio’s Home Fashions or an additional $20,000 cash. Donna and her husband chose to take the gift certificate, and update their home’s furniture.

In addition to the Grand Prize, Robert and Suzanna Pyke of Sarnia, ON were the winners of a $10,000 Early Bird Prize.
“Win Your Way” Calendar winners will be announced daily starting May 1st through to May 31st. Although ticket sales have ended for the May calendar draw, July “Win Your Way” Calendar tickets are available as part of this year’s 5 Car Draw.
5 Car Draw tickets are on sale now at www.soolottery.ca. This year, ticket purchasers have up to 102 chances to win! Each 5 Car Draw ticket comes with a chance at 3 cash early bird draws starting May 19th, as well as the 5 grand prize draws, which will be held June 29th. Purchasers can then choose to “add-on” 50/50 and “Win Your Way” Calendar draw tickets. The 50/50 gives a chance at a guaranteed minimum $20,000 cash prize being awarded on June 29th, and the “Win Your Way” Calendar draw tickets offer a chance to win 3 daily draws with a choice of a $500 Esso Gas Card or $400 CASH, throughout the month of July.
