Until two years ago, performing cardiac stenting procedures (also known as Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) here at Sault Area Hospital was a dream – but today, it is a reality that has had such a positive impact on the lives of your loved ones, neighbours, and friends throughout our community.
The expansion of cardiac services has been our greatest need for the past two years, and it is only possible today thanks to the generosity of local donors.
With this phase of the cardiac expansion complete, our Foundation is now focusing on raising funds to purchase nearly $1.8 million in essential medical equipment across our hospital this year. This includes diagnostic imaging equipment required as the first step in nearly every patient’s healthcare journey. As always, our goal is to ensure we can deliver outstanding care for patients and their families here in our home community.
