Brian Wilding wins $55,400 in the June SAHF 50/50 Draw

On June 27, 2025, Brian Wilding of Toronto, ON won a $55,400 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) June 50/50 draw. Brian’s lucky number (J-13383802) was drawn electronically, and he was called immediately.
When we called with the good news, Brian had a feeling what we might say – but he and his partner were still speechless. “Wow! I never in my wildest dreams thought I might actually win,” he said.
Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Brian has always believed in supporting local healthcare. As a proud supporter of Sault Area Hospital Foundation, he knows just how important it is to keep care close to home. “My family has received great care at the hospital. I believe in supporting SAHF and will continue to do so,” he shared.
Brian plans to put some of the winnings aside for a rainy day and use the rest to travel and make great memories!
Brian wasn’t the only winner this month – July’s Early Bird, Joanne Clark of Shuniah, ON, was the lucky winner of $10,000 on June 12, 2025 with ticket J-25958094.

Tickets for SAHF’s July’s 50/50 draw are on sale now! Get your tickets before July 16 at midnight for a chance to win the $10,000 early bird prize - plus every ticket has a chance at the growing jackpot.
Tickets are 10 for $10; 60 for $20; 200 for$40; 750 for $75. In addition to online sales at www.soolottery.ca tickets can be purchased in person at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Office (750 Great Northern Road) from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.
