Proceeds from Sault Area Hospital Foundation lottery programs help support the purchase of medical equipment for Sault Area Hospital.
On November 28, Lucienne Coleman of Sturgeon Falls, ON won a $100,000 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) November 50/50 draw. Lucienne’s lucky number (N-14434245) was drawn electronically, and she was called immediately.
When we called to let her know she was the lucky winner, Lucienne couldn’t believe it! “What an incredible way to start the day,” she shared. Before calling her husband to deliver the good news, she headed straight to the SAHF 50/50 website to double-check the winning number for herself.
From Membership to major win, Lucienne has been a SAHF 50/50 member since the program launched. Even without personal ties to Sault Ste. Marie, she believes in supporting hospitals across the North. Now, her monthly support has come back in an unforgettable way. She’s still deciding what to do with her winnings, but a new car is at the top of her list.

Although one lucky winner will take home the grand prize, every ticket purchased helps make a difference for our hospital. Thank you to all who help make these wins possible.”
Tickets for SAHF’s December 50/50 draw are on sale now and you could win BIG! Get your tickets before December 17 at midnight for a chance to win the $10,000 early bird prize – plus the guaranteed $100,000 jackpot!
Tickets are 10 for $10; 60 for $20; 200 for $40; or 750 for $75. In addition to online sales at www.soolottery.ca, tickets can be purchased in person at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Office (750 Great Northern Road) from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.
