Gus Muto wins $60,380 in the July SAHF 50/50 Draw

On July 31, Gus Muto of Sault Ste. Marie, ON won a $60,380 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) July 50/50 draw. Gus’ lucky number (J-24235100) was drawn electronically, and he was called immediately.
Gus got the call while at work and was absolutely thrilled to hear the news. Gus has been a long-time supporter of the SAHF 50/50 draws —alongside his entire family. In fact, luck seems to run in the family: his parents, Gaspare (Gus) and Colleen Muto, won the August 50/50 Draw just last year!
When asked what he plans to do with the money, Gus said he doesn’t have any big purchases in mind. Instead, he’s planning to save the funds for a rainy day.
Gus wasn't the only winner this month - July's Early Bird, Jocelyn Smith of Thunder Bay, ON was the lucky winner of $10,000 on July 17 with ticket J-29571479.

Tickets for SAHF’s August 50/50 draw are on sale now! Get your tickets before August 14 at midnight for a chance to win the $10,000 early bird prize – plus every ticket has a chance at the growing jackpot.
Tickets are 10 for $10; 60 for $20; 200 for $40; or 750 for $75. In addition to online sales at www.soolottery.ca, tickets can be purchased in person at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Office (750 Great Northern Road) from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.
